Ads measurement (Meta Pixel)
On our public pages, our onboarding pages and the checkout confirmation page (not elsewhere inside the member area) we use the Meta Pixel, provided by Meta Platforms (Facebook and Instagram). It tells Meta when someone views a page, registers for an event or program, creates a BBS account, or completes a paid checkout, along with the event or program name and, for purchases, the amount and currency. Meta also receives the standard information its pixel collects, such as your browser, device and IP address, and the ad-click ID if you arrived from one of our ads. We use this to measure how our ads perform and to help Meta show them to people likely to find them useful. We do not send Meta your name, email or phone number.
The pixel is not loaded for visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, or when we cannot tell where a visitor is.
Campaign tags
If you arrive through a link carrying campaign tags (such as utm_campaign) or a Meta ad-click ID, we keep them in your browser for up to 30 days and save them with your registration or account, so we can tell which campaigns bring people to BBS.
Opting out
You can block the Meta Pixel with your browser's tracking protection or a content blocker, and manage ad preferences in your Facebook or Instagram settings under Ad Preferences. Clearing this site's storage in your browser removes stored campaign tags. For questions or to request removal of campaign data from your account, email outreach@booststrategygroup.com.
